In fact, this knit piece is perfect for our intermediate skilled knitters to work on.

Moreover, this project is available in five sizes. Once finished, the sweater will fit kids with heights of 1ft/1ft8 – 1ft 10/2ft – 2ft3/2ft5 – 2ft7/2ft9 (3ft – 3ft3/3ft5). That’s 48/52 – 56/62 – 68/74 – 80/86 (92 – 98/104) cm if you prefer to use the metric system.

To make this pattern, you will need DROPS Baby Merino yarn, It is a sport-weight yarn made of extra fine merino wool. It is a remarkably soft yarn that is perfect for making baby projects.

Furthermore, you will be needing a US size 1.5-2.5 circular or double-pointed knitting needle. That’s 2.5 and 3 mm needles if you prefer to use the metric system.

When making this piece, you will be using the k2tog knitting decrease when you make this project. The k2tog or knit two together is a basic right slanting decrease that is quite common throughout knitting patterns.
