Designed by the creative team over at Lion Brand Yarns, this pretty short is worked flat in two identical pieces then sewn together after. The pattern comes in 4 different sizes ranging from small to 1XL.

The finished waist measures 28.5 inches for small, 32.5 for medium, 36.5 for large, and 40.5 inches for 1XL. The length would be 14 inches for small and medium, 14.5 for large and 1XL.

If you use the metric system, the finished waist for small is 72.5 cm, 82.5 for medium, 92.5 for large, and 103 cm for 1XL. The finished lengths are, 35.5 cm for small and medium and 37 cm for large and 1XL sizes.

To make the shorts, you will need the Basic Stitch Anti Pilling yarn, a durable yet super-soft medium-weight yarn made up of 100% acrylic. The yarn is perfect for garments that are frequently worn and are prone to wear and tear. It is 100% machine washable and machine dryable.

You will also need a size US7 knitting needle. That is 4.5 mm knitting needle if you use the metric system.

Techniques Needed
