This stylish and easy knit beanie is ideal for beginners who want to practice knitting in the round.
The pattern comes in just one size that will fit an adult woman. Though it is super easy to change the size, if you need to.
Using Lion Brand’s Wool Ease Thick & Quick Yarn, the beanie is knitted using US11 knitting needles. That’s 8 mm needles if you prefer metric units.
Furthermore, you are going to need double pointed needles to work this. If you have 16 inch (approx. 40 cm) circular needle, you can work most of the beanie but you’ll have to switch to double pointed for the last round.
With 80% acrylic and 20% wool, this super bulky yarn is simply perfect for beginner knitters. And it’s also machine washable and dryable.
