The Simple Vertical Stripes Slip-Stitch Pattern is an easy way to add some color to your knitting project.
And best of all, as this is a color-change slip-stitch pattern, you do not have to worry about the usual issues that stranded knitting throws up.
In fact, knitting with two colors when using slipped stitches is super easy. You only need to knit with one color for two rows. Then, you change color and knit another two rows – easy!
All mosaic or color-change patterns are designed using this same principle. So, this makes them perfect for novice knitters who want to try out knitting with two colors at the same time.
However, as with all colorwork, the choice of contrasting colors is important. To make your pattern really pop, do not choose colors that are too close to each other.
