To work on this piece, you will need DROPS Paris Yarn. It’s soft to touch and with a delicate rustic feel yarn. This yarn is made from 100% cotton fibers which makes it comfy and soft to the skin. It is perfect for making baby garments and adult garments, blankets, and towels.

Furthermore, you will need circular knitting needles US size of 9 with a length of 32 inches and a US size of 7 with a length of 24 or 32 inches. That’s about 5.5 mm with 80 cm long and 4.5 mm with 60 or 80 cm long respectively if you prefer to use the metric system.

Finally, you will be using the k2tog knitting decrease when you start doing this project. The k2tog or knitting two stitches together is a basic right slanting decrease that is often paired with yarnover on lace patterns.

If you want to learn how to do the k2tog, we have an illustrated tutorial for it that you’ll find helpful. Find this tutorial here: Basic Right-Slanting Decrease (K2tog).
