Quick Slippers – A Delightfully Warm and Cozy Slippers
Designed by the talented Lisa Carnahan, this knit footwear is worked in one piece starting at the cuff. The stitches for the heel are knitted back and forth in rows and is shaped using short rows.
The slippers are available in one size; however, it is stretchy enough to fit most women’s feet. The foot length can be easily adjusted, just make sure to take the correct foot measurements of the intended recipient.

In making the slippers, you will need Lion Brand’s Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn. It is fun to use bulky-weight yarn made of 80% acrylic and 20% wool. It is perfect for making warm garments and accessories, like this piece we’re making.
You will also need a size US 13 Double-pointed knitting needle. That is a 9 mm needle if you are using the metric system.
Moreover, you’ll be utilizing the ssk decrease technique when you start making this piece. The ssk or slip one, slip one. Knit two together is a knitting decrease often used in lace patterns.
