In fact, it is created by knitting a broken “Knit-Two/Purl-Two” ribbing which has been arranged in chevrons that looks a bit like mountain peaks.

Furthermore, it is almost as easy to create as if you were just ribbing.

Moreover, by only blocking it lightly, the knit stitches will close up and twist around each other. So, this will make them resemble little Mock Cables.

On the other hand, you could achieve the same effect by leaving it completely unblocked.

In addition, a key feature of this gorgeous, textured stitch pattern is that it is fully reversible.

In other words, this means that it is perfect for knitting projects where you will see both sides of the fabric, e.g. scarfs and blankets.

This free knit stitch pattern is ideal for Level 3 - Easy Level Knitters
