In fact, this knit piece is perfect for our Easy skilled knitters to work on.

This pattern is available in preemie sizes. The Kid’s sizes are 6/12 mos -18 mos inches if you are using the metric system.

To make this pattern you will need the Bernat Softee Baby Yarn. It is a gorgeous and luxuriously soft  Lightweight yarn made from  100% acrylic fibers. It’s the perfect yarn for Garments, Accessories, and home projects.

Furthermore, you will be needing a US size 5 circular or double-pointed knitting needle. That’s 3.75 mm needles if you prefer to use the metric system.

You will be using the YO or open yarnover increase when you make this project. The open yarnover increase is an increase technique commonly used on lace patterns. It is a standalone, vertical increase, meaning it neither leans to the left nor to the right.
