Brought to you by the awesome Garn Studio Design Team, the Nordic Nights Knit Sweater is both functional and fashionable.

In fact, its double-neck edge will hug your neck comfortably, and its elegant Nordic pattern will simply look so serene.

Moreover, it’s available in six sizes, which measure about 22, 22.75, 23.5, 24.25, 25.25, and 26 inches in full length. That’s 56, 58, 60, 62, 64, and 66 cm if you prefer to use the metric system.

To make this pullover, you will need the DROPS Alaska Yarn, a 100%  classic-spun wool yarn. Its untreated fibers bring out the wool’s most outstanding qualities, making it perfect for a wide range of patterns. Plus, it offers exceptional shape and texture qualities, and comes in a variety of colors!

Furthermore, you will need a US size 9 circular knitting needle, 16 and 32 inches long. That’s 5.5 mm, and 40 and 80 cm respectively in the metric system.

Finally, one of the basic techniques you’ll be doing as you make this piece is slipping stitches. Slipping a stitch is essentially passing the stitch from one needle to another, and you can do so either knitwise or purlwise.

If you like to discover more about slipping stitches, you can check out our fully illustrated tutorial for this technique. You can find it here: Slipping Stitches Knitwise or Purlwise.
