Moreover, it comes in six sizes, small, medium, large, XL, XXL, and XXXL. The finished chest measures 34.63 inches up to 54.25 inches, and the finished length measures 18 inches up to 22 inches. That’s about 88 cm to 138 cm for the chest measurements, and 46 cm to 56 cm for the full length respectively if you prefer to use the metric system.

To make this piece, you will need DROPS BabyAlpaca Silk. It’s a soft yarn that is made from two wonderful fibers. It’s spun from baby alpaca which gives softness and mulberry silk which gives strength and glossy shine to your project. This yarn is perfect for making both baby and adult garments.

Furthermore, you will need two double-pointed US sizes 1.5 and 2.5. That’s approximately 2.5 mm and 3 mm if you prefer to use the metric unit.

In addition, you will also need two circular knitting needles US size 1.5 and 2.5 with a length of 16 inches. That’s about 2.5 mm and 3 mm with a length of 40 cm respectively if you prefer to use the metric unit.

You will also be using the m1 knitting increase when you make this project. The m1 or make 1 is an invisible increase technique that can either lean to the right or the left.

If you want to learn how to do the M1 increase, we have illustrated tutorials available for both the right-leaning m1 and left-leaning m1.

Finally, making this throw will require you to make the Open Yarnover Increase (yo). It’s a stand-alone increase, leaning neither to the left nor the right and is vertical in appearance.

If you need some useful guides to do this, you can check out our fully illustrated tutorial for this technique. You can find it here: Learn the Open Yarnover Increase.
