Another charming creation brought to you by the Lion Brand Yarn design team. This lovely blanket is knitted in one piece in a one-row stitch pattern.

The pattern is available in a single size and once completed measures approximately 46 inches wide and 57 inches long. That’s roughly 117 cm wide and 145 cm long if you prefer using metric units.

To make the afghan, you will need Lion Brand’s Cover Story Yarn. It’s a soft and super bulky, 100% polyester yarn that comes in a range of sophisticated colors. Its rich, velvety texture is perfect when making plush afghans and cozy accessories.

You will need a US size 15 circular knitting needle. That’s a 10 mm needle if you are using the metric system.

Finally, as you come to finish the pattern, you will have to weave in the yarn ends. This will give your project nice and neat ends. If you like to learn how to do this, you can check out our fully illustrated tutorial for this technique. You can find it here:  Learn How to Weave in Yarn Ends.
