White knitted fabric with a triangular pattern followed by a text area that says "Learn how to knit: Little Tent Slip-Stitch Pattern, learnknittingonline.com" and a back side of white knitted fabric with a triangular patternThe Little Tent Slip-Stitch Pattern is a really delightful knit stitch pattern. In fact, it has elements of the Quilted Lattice Stitch Pattern incorporated into it.

However, in the Little Tent Pattern, the elements are arranged vertically. In addition, they intersperse with panels of Garter Stitch. The resulting fabric does indeed resemble little tents.

Actually, this is a very easy and fun slip-stitch pattern to knit. The tent effect is created by lifting a loose strand on every 4th row.

As a matter of fact, the pattern is just knitted over 4 rows, making it very easy to memorize.

Furthermore, it is a pattern that lends itself really well to a wide range of different knitting projects. For instance, you could try using it for knitting a deep-textured sweater in a heavy yarn.
