This free knitting pattern is ideal for Level 4 - Intermediate Level Knitters

From the talented designers of the Yarnspiration design team. This knit piece is perfect for our intermediate skilled knitters to work on.

This pattern is available in 2 sizes. The kid’s sizes are 4/6 inches. That’s 8/10 cm if you are using the metric system.

To make this pattern you will need the Patons Classic Wool Worsted Yarn. It is a beautiful and remarkably soft worsted weight yarn made from  100% wool fibers. It’s the perfect yarn for Garments, Accessories, and home projects.

Furthermore, you will be needing a US size 3 – 5 circular or double-pointed knitting needle. That’s 3.25 – 3.75 mm needles if you prefer to use the metric system.

You will be using the k2tog knitting decrease when you make this project. The k2tog or knit two together is a basic right slanting decrease that is quite common throughout knitting patterns.

If you’re not familiar with the k2tog decrease, we have an illustrated, step-by-step tutorial for it that you’ll surely find helpful. You can find this tutorial here: Learn How to Make a Basic Right-Slanting Decrease (K2tog).

You will be slipping stitches when working this pattern. To slip a stitch means to pass the stitch from one needle to another without working it.

If you like to learn how to do the sl or slip stitches, you can check out our fully illustrated tutorial for this technique here: Slipping Stitches Knitwise or Purlwise.
