This free knitting pattern is ideal for Level 3 - Easy Level Knitters

From the talented designers of the Yarnspiration design team. The knit piece is perfect for our new knitters to work on.

This pattern is available in 2 sizes. The Kid’s sizes are 4 and 6 inches. That’s 8 and 10 cm if you are using the metric system.

To make this pattern you will need the Phentex Slipper & Craft Yarn. It is a beautiful and remarkably soft medium worsted weight yarn made from 100% olefin fibers. It’s the ideal yarn for Garments, Accessories, and home projects.

Furthermore, you will be needing a US size 8 circular or double-pointed knitting needle. That’s 5 mm needles if you prefer to use the metric system.

You will be slipping stitches when working this pattern. To slip a stitch means to pass the stitch from one needle to another without working it.

If you like to learn how to do the sl or slip stitches, you can check out our fully illustrated tutorial for this technique here: Slipping Stitches Knitwise or Purlwise.

You can use the simpler long-tail cast-on method instead of the provisional cast-on. The long-tail cast-on is probably the most popular of all the cast-on methods. It is suitable for many types of knitting projects.

We have an illustrated tutorial for the long-tail cast-on if you want to learn it. You can find this tutorial here: Learn How to Do A Long-Tail Cast on.
