From the amazingly creative designers at the Garn Studio team. This Kaleidoscope Knitted Blanket is a perfect companion when you feel cold. It’s a great blanket to snuggle up during a chilly night.  In fact, this pattern is great for beginners and advanced beginner knitters to work on.

Moreover, this pattern is available in a single size only, which measures about 33.5 inches by 53 inches. That’s approximately 85 cm by 135 cm if you prefer to use the metric system.

To make this pattern you will need the DROPS Delight and DROPS Alpaca Yarn. They’re a gorgeous and remarkably soft sport and fingering weight yarn made from wool, polyamide, and alpaca fibers. It’s the perfect yarn for garments, accessories, and home projects.

Furthermore, you will need a straight knitting needle US size 4. That’s about 3.5 mm if you prefer to use the metric system.

Finally, you will be using the k2tog knitting decrease when you start doing this project. The k2tog or knitting two stitches together is a basic right slanting decrease that is often paired with yarnover on lace patterns.

If you want to learn how to do the k2tog, we have an illustrated tutorial for it that you’ll find helpful. Find this tutorial here: Basic Right-Slanting Decrease (K2tog).
