Gorgeous IndieKimono Poncho – A Trendy-Looking Poncho


Designed by the talented Drops Design, this piece is knitted with cables and moss stitch. It’s an ideal project for intermediate-skilled knitters to work on.
Moreover, this pattern is available in four sizes. They measure about 26 3/4”-27 1/2”-28 3/8”-30. That’s about 68-70-72-76cm if you prefer to use the metric system.
To make this pattern you will need the DROPS Nepal Yarn. It is a gorgeous and luxuriously soft aran worsted-weight yarn made from 65% Wool and 35% Alpaca fibers. It’s the perfect yarn for Garments, Accessories, and home projects.
Furthermore, you will need a US size 10 Circular knitting needle. That’s about 7 mm if you prefer to use the metric system
Techniques
You will be using the YO or open yarnover increase when you do this project. The open yarnover increase is an increase technique commonly used on lace patterns. It is a standalone, vertical increase, meaning it neither leans to the left nor to the right.
