Designed by Jenny Williams, this baby cloth pattern is fully charted and is using seed stitch to create the heart shape in the middle.

The Seed stitch, also known as a Moss stitch, is a very popular stitch pattern. It is very simple and is knitted over just 2 rows. If you’re not familiar with seed stitch and would like to learn how to make them, we have an excellent tutorial that you’ll surely like. The pattern comes in a single size and measures 7.5 inches wide and 8 inches tall. That is 19 cm wide and 20 cm tall, if you are using the metric system.

To make this baby cloth you will need the Shine Sport Yarn, an ultra-soft yarn made up of 60% pima cotton and 40% modal natural beech wood fiber. Perfect for a baby’s smooth skin. Best of all, it is machine washable!

You’ll also need a US4 straight or circular knitting needle. That is a 3.5 mm needle, if you prefer metric units.
