Moreover, this pattern is available in a single size. Once finished, it measures about 13 x 16 inches That’s about 41 x 34cm if you prefer to use the metric system.

To make this pattern you will need the Paintbox Yarns Recycled cotton yarn. It is a gorgeous and luxuriously soft Worsted weight yarn made from 100% Cotton fibers. It’s the perfect yarn for Garments, Accessories, and home projects.

Furthermore, you will need a US size 7 knitting needle. That’s about 4.5 mm if you prefer to use the metric system.

You can use the simpler long-tail cast-on method instead of the provisional cast-on. The long-tail cast-on is probably the most popular of all the cast-on methods. It is suitable for many types of knitting projects.

We have an illustrated tutorial for the long-tail cast-on if you want to learn it. You can find this tutorial here: Learn How to Do A Long-Tail Cast on.

Finally, as you come to finish the pattern, you will have to weave in the yarn ends. This method will give your shrug a nice and neat finish.
