Moreover, this pattern comes in five sizes. The available sizes are 1X, 2X, L, M, S.

For this sweater, you will need Lionbrand’s Merino Yak Alpaca Yarn which is a soft and lovely yarn with pleasant colors. Spun from 70% Merino, 15% Alpaca, and 15% Yak fibers, giving it its texture and incredible color.

Furthermore, you will need US size 5 circular knitting needles. That’s a 3.75 mm needle if you prefer using the metric system.

When making this piece, you need to be able to slip stitches. To slip a stitch means you have to pass the stitch from one needle to another without working it.

If you want to learn how to slip stitches, we have a fully illustrated tutorial that will guide you step-by-step on how how to do this technique. You will find this tutorial here: Slipping Stitches Knitwise or Purlwise.

Moreover, this pattern also requires that you knit through the back loop. If you want to learn how to do this, check out our fully illustrated tutorial on the technique. Check it here: TFL and TBL: Knit Through Front and Back Loops.
