Moreover, it comes in two different sizes, small/medium, and large/XL. The finished circumference measures about 8 inches to 8.75 inches and the length measures about 8.75 inches to 9 inches. That’s approximately 20 to 22 cm for circumference and 22 to 23 cm long if you prefer to use the metric unit.

To make these lovely warmers, you will need DROPS Wish Yarn, a 14 ply super bulky yarn. It’s an excellent combination of baby alpaca, merino wool, and Pima cotton fibers. The fibers give soft and fluffiness and absolute itch-free to the yarn. The yarn is perfect when making accessories, garments, and afghans.

Furthermore, you will need two double-pointed knitting needles US size 10 and 10.75. That’s approximately 6 and 7 mm if you prefer to use the metric system.

Working the pattern requires you to make the k2tog or knit 2 stitches together. It’s a basic decrease technique that slants to the right. For a useful guide for this technique, check out our fully illustrated tutorial here: Basic Right-Slanting Decrease (K2tog).

Finally, making these mittens will require you to make the Open Yarnover Increase (yo). It’s a stand-alone increase, leaning neither to the left nor the right, and is vertical in appearance.

If you need some useful guides to do this, you can check out our fully illustrated tutorial for this technique. You can find it here: Learn the Open Yarnover Increase.
