Designed by Sylvia Hager, this cozy knit item is both comfortable and sturdy. It is knitted in-the-round, perfect for beginners who like a bit of challenge and would like to try a knit-in-the-round project.
The mitts come in a single size and measure 8 ½ in hand circumference. That is 21.5 cm, if you prefer metric measurements.
Using Love Crafts’ Spud & Chloe Sweater Yarn, a versatile yarn that contains 55% wool and 45% cotton. They are knitted using US7 double-pointed knitting needles. That is 4.5 mm needles, if you are using the metric system.
Furthermore, you will need to do a kfb increase, as well as k2tog and ssk decrease to finish this pattern.
If you are not familiar with the kfb knitting increase and want to learn how to do it, we have a detailed step-by-step tutorial on the subject that you can find here: Learn How to Make a KFB or Bar Increase.
