This free knitting pattern is ideal for Level 4 - Intermediate Level Knitters

Brought to you by Melissa Leapman from the Lion Brand Yarn design team, the Elmyra Knit Pullover is a stunning pullover perfect to pair with any of your favorite pants or flowy skirts. It features a farrow rib pattern design in the sleeves.

In fact, this project is perfect for our intermediate skilled knitters to work on.

Moreover, it comes in four sizes, small, medium, large, and XL. The finished bust measures about 37, 41, 45, and 49 inches, and the finished length is 24 inches.

That’s approximately 94, 104, 114.5, and 124.5 cm for the bust and 61 cm long if you prefer to use the metric unit.

To make this piece, you will be needing Lion Brands Fishermen’s Wool Yarn. This is made from 100% pure virgin wool which makes it soft and warm. It’s perfect for making sweaters, hats, scarves, and slippers.

Furthermore, you will be needing US size 5, and 7 circular knitting needles. That’s about 3.75 and 4.5 mm if you prefer to use the metric system.

Finally, you will be using k2tog knitting decrease when you start doing this project. The k2tog or knitting two stitches together is a basic right slanting decrease that is often paired with yarnover on lace patterns.

If you want to learn how to do the k2tog, we have an illustrated tutorial for it that you’ll find helpful. Find this tutorial here: Basic Right-Slanting Decrease (K2tog).
