This piece is a perfect project for knitters with intermediate skills to tackle. It is available in one size and once completed will measure approximately 37 inches wide and 52 inches long. That’s about 94 cm wide and 132 cm long.

To make the blanket, you will need Paton’s Canadiana Yarn. It is an easy-care and durable worsted-weight yarn made of 100% acrylic. The yarn is simply perfect for everyday use garments and accessories.

You will also need a US 7 straight or circular knitting needle. That is a 4.5 mm needle if you are using the metric system.

Moreover, you’ll be employing the YO increase when doing this project. It is referred to as yfwd in this knitting pattern. It is the UK term for yarnover.
