This free knitting pattern is ideal for Level 3 - Easy Level Knitters

Designed by the talented team from Lion Brands yarn design team, this knitting bag comes with a handle that can be carried around by your little tyke.

In addition, this pattern is perfect for easy knitters to work on.

The pattern is available in a single size, and once completed it measures about 9 inches by 8 inches. That’s approximately 23 cm by 20.5 cm if you prefer to use the metric measurement.

To make this pattern you will need the Sesame Street Fuzzy Friends Yarn. It is a beautiful and remarkably soft Jumbo weight yarn made from 100% Micro Polyester fibers. It’s the ideal yarn for Garments, Accessories, and home projects.

Furthermore, you will need a US size 9-15 knitting needle. That’s about 5.5 -10 mm if you prefer to use the metric system.

You can use the simpler long-tail cast-on method instead of the provisional cast-on. The long-tail cast-on is probably the most popular of all the cast-on methods. It is suitable for many types of knitting projects.

We have an illustrated tutorial for the long-tail cast-on if you want to learn it. You can find this tutorial here: Learn How to Do A Long-Tail Cast on.

Finally, as you come to finish the pattern, you will have to bind off, which gives your fabric a smooth, attractive edge.

If you like to learn how to do a basic bind-off, you can check out our step-by-step tutorial for the Standard Bind-Off. It is the most common way to finish off your project. You can find the tutorial here: Learn How To Do A Basic Bind-Off.
