This free knitting pattern is ideal for Level 4 - Intermediate Level Knitters

Designed by the talented Joyce Fassbender, this delightful dishcloth is worked in the round from the inside out. This pattern is ideal for knitters with intermediate skills.

The pattern is available in a single size, and once completed, measures approximately 8.5 inches square. That is about 21 cm square if you prefer using metric units.

To make this dishcloth, you’ll need to use KnitPicks’ Shine Sport Yarn. This yarn is an amazingly soft and gorgeous sport-weight yarn made of 60% Pima Cotton and 40% Modal natural beech wood fiber. The yarn is simply perfect for making babies’ and kids’ garments, as well as blankets and washcloths, like this piece that we’re making. Best of all, it is machine washable.

You will also need a size US 5 Double-pointed knitting needle. That’s a 3.75 mm needle if you are using the metric system.

Moreover, this pattern can be easily followed using the included chart, so knitters who like diagrams will be whipping up this piece in no time.

Once completed, you will need to weave in the yarn ends properly. You can see how this is done with the help of our illustrated tutorial that you can find here: Learn How to Weave in Yarn Ends.
