In fact, this project is perfect for intermediate knitters to work on.

The project is available in a single size. The finished measurement is 3 X 4 X 5 inches long. That’s approximately 8 X 10X 13 cm if you prefer to use the metric system.

The original booties were made with the discontinued Paton’s Fairytale Soft DK yarn, however, you can easily substitute the yarn with a comparable weight like this Paintbox Baby DK Yarn.

Furthermore, you will need US 6 knitting needles to make these booties. That’s 4 mm needles if you prefer to use the metric system.

Techniques

You will be using the k2tog knitting decrease when you make this project. The k2tog or knit two together is a basic right slanting decrease that is quite common throughout knitting patterns.
