This free knitting pattern is ideal for Level 4 - Intermediate Level Knitters

Designed by the talented Joanna Rankin, this top will look incredibly sexy when paired with jeans or a skirt. It is a fun project that is perfect for intermediate knitters to work on.

The top is available in 9 different sizes. The sizes range from 32 inches bust size to 54 inches. That’s 81 cm to 137 cm if you prefer metric measurements.

To make the piece, you will need Knit Picks’ Capra DK yarn. It is an elegant and super soft DK-weight yarn made of 85% fine Merino wool and 15% cashmere. The yarn is just perfect for making stunning and cozy garments like this top we’re making.

You will also need a size US 4 circular or double pointed knitting needle. That is a 3.5 mm needle if you are using the metric system.

Moreover, you will be utilizing the m1 increase when you start making this project. The m1 or make 1 is an invisible increase that can either slant to the left or the right. You can learn more about the m1 here: M1, M1R, M1L: Knitting Abbreviations Explained.

Once you’ve completed the piece you will have weave in the yarn ends properly. If you’re not sure how to do this, we have an excellent step-by-step tutorial that you can easily follow. You can find this here: Learn How to Weave in Yarn Ends.
