Designed by the talented Kathy Hammerton, this lovely accessory’s pattern is available in one size and measures approximately 4.25 inches wide and 72 inches long.

If you are using the metric system, that is about 10.5 cm in width and a length of about 182 cm.

The pattern is an ideal project for knitters with intermediate knitting skills.

To make the scarf, you will need to use the Andean Treasure yarn, a gorgeous and super-soft, sport-weight yarn made of 100% baby alpaca.

Boasting an array of gorgeous shades and colors, it is simply perfect for making fashionable and cozy garments or accessories like this one we’re making. Plus, this lovely yarn is also feltable.

You will also need size US4 straight or circular knitting needles. That’s a 3.5 mm knitting needle if you use metric measurements.

Moreover, this pattern introduces a wonderful twist on your regular rib. It uses two knit and purl combinations to create a unique and attractive texture. It is easy to learn and we’re sure that you’ll be whipping up this gorgeous scarf in no time.

Once completed, you will need to make sure that you’ve weaved in the yarn ends properly. We have a detailed, step-by-step tutorial on this if you want to learn more. Find the tutorial here: Learn How to Weave in Yarn Ends.
